My friend shared this video to warn other artists about how she was taken advantage of, and I believe this is a very important message that every artist should hear.
I've lost count of how many times someone, be it a big corporation or an individual, have asked me to illustrate for them for free. It will always go something like this "You draw this for us, and we will include your name in the credits. That's good publicity for you!" as if such a pathetic offer holds any merit.
There was one specific case where a guy wanted to use my drawing as a book cover but didn't want to pay. He said he might print up to 50,000 books, so that's like an

I was just nineteen years old
When I cut myself in two
The boy I wanted them to see
And the boy they never knew
Hid my hollow bones away
I've been hiding ever since
Yes, you may see the odd smile
But only ever a glimpse
But my heart was never broken
It was born in several pieces
And with every passing year
The size of the segments decreases
I was just nineteen years old
When I died for the first time
I did not cope so well
With leaving my childhood behind
I didn't want to face up

Is Invisible Children Trustworthy?
Since I posted the Kony 2012 video, a lot of people have been telling me that the organization is not to be trusted with donations and is under investigation (but raising awareness is still good). I don't know how much of it is true, but it's good to at least take it into consideration.

So as you can tell, I'm not dead. you may have also noticed that I have been drawing mostly ponies. why is that, you didn't really ask but are now possibly wondering because I mentioned it? well... IT'S BECAUSE I HAVE PONIES ON THE BRAIN MAN! This show has just invaded my brain, and it's like all I ever want to draw is ponies. Which wouldn't really be a problem if it wasn't for the fact that I'm getting rusty on drawing humans. Plus the fact that I need to practice other things as well. so one of two things will probably happen, either I'll just keep on with the ponies, or try to be diverse with my arts. the second option means I will probabl
